Supporting Existing Businesses Grant Program

Clinton Downtown Initiatives, Inc. (CDI, Inc.) is pleased to present the Supporting Existing Businesses Grant Program, made possible by the generosity of the Duke Energy Foundation. All business owners located within the boundaries of the Downtown Clinton Municipal Service District are invited to apply for grants between $1,000 and $2,500. The qualifying purposes are: the business has experienced recent economic hardship; is investing in new technology to improve sales efficiencies; is seeking to increase service and commerce opportunities; or is investing in storefront beautification.

Grant Timeline & Schedule:

-August 19, 2024 Grant Application opens at 9:00 AM

-August 27, 2024 Grant Information Seminar at City Hall at 6:00 PM.

-September 27, 2024 Grant Applications and Documentation due in by 5:00 PM

-September 30 - October 15, 2024 Board of Directors of CDI, Inc. Reviews and Scores Applications

-October 16, 2024 Notification of Awards and Disbursements begin

-October 25, 2024 Grant Check Disbursements begin
