Dinner on Main is a one-of-a-kind outdoor dining experience in Downtown Clinton, bringing together chefs from across Sampson County for an unforgettable evening in front of the County Courthouse. Rooted in community and local flavor, it’s a evening of celebration and fellowship for people from throughout the county. Where is Dinner on Main?
The evening begins with a social hour at Artworks Artway, then guests will stroll to Main Street in front of the Sampson County Courthouse in Downtown Clinton where we’ll dine al fresco as the sun sets. Dinner will feature dishes prepared by talented local chefs and businesses from across the county, using ingredients sourced from local providers.

Tickets?
A limited number of tickets (100) will go on sale later this month for $75 each. Proceeds from the evening will help support this fundraising effort.

All corporate tables have been sold out at this time. If you are interested in sponsoring another part of the event, please contact us!

What will this help fund?
Proceeds from Dinner on Main will begin funding beautification projects throughout the county.

Meet Our Dinner on Main Chefs

Alfredo DiPinto, owner of Alfredo's in Clinton, brings a taste of Italy and a lifetime of culinary passion to the heart of downtown. Known for his warm hospitality and dedication to authentic flavors, Alfredo has created a dining experience that feels both elevated and inviting - where every meal is rooted in tradition and made with care. 

A staple in the local dining scene, Alfredo takes pride in serving the Clinton community and creating dishes that bring people together. At Dinner on Main, guests will experience his signature approach- timeless recipes, fresh ingredients, and an atmosphere that feels like home. 


Matt Register, owner of Southern Smoke in Garland, is known for creating memorable dining experiences rooted in community creativity, and Southern tradition. A self-taught chef and cookbook author, Matt has built a loyal following by bringing people together through thoughtfully crafted meals and a passion for storytelling through food. His dedication to local ingredients and small-town pride shines through in every dish he creates, making him a standout in North Carolina's culinary scene. At Dinner on Main, guest will get a true taste of his approach - where food, fellowship, and atmosphere come together for an unforgettable evening. 


Sharon and Deb, the owners of Ribeyes Steakhouse of Clinton, bring a perfect blend of hospitality and hometown pride to Dinner on Main. Known for their dedication to quality and community, they have built a welcoming dining experience that reflects the heart of Clinton. Their passion for great food and warm service shines through in everything they do, making them a natural fit to represent the local culinary scene.

At Dinner on Main, Sharon and Deb will showcase the spirit of Ribeyes—where every guest feels like family—while helping create an unforgettable evening celebrating the best of Sampson County.


Owner Karson McCullen and Catering Manager Laura Goodrich of Farmhouse in Newton Grove bring a passion for locally inspired cuisine and genuine Southern hospitality to every table they serve. Known for their commitment to fresh ingredients and thoughtfully prepared dishes, the duo has built a reputation for creating memorable dining experiences rooted in community and flavor.

At this year’s Dinner on Main in Clinton,  Laura will showcase the heart of Farmhouse with a selection that celebrates the region’s best, offering guests a taste of what makes their kitchen so special.


Lori Smith with Burney’s Sweets & More in Clinton brings a passion for baking and community to one of the area’s most beloved sweet destinations. Known for its signature glazed croissants, decadent cakes, and made-from-scratch desserts, Burney’s has become a go-to for treats that feel both nostalgic and indulgent.

For Dinner on Main, Lori and her team will deliver a sweet finale that captures the warmth, creativity, and small-town charm that define Burney’s—offering guests a memorable taste of one of Clinton’s favorite traditions.
